Nominate a board member
The board is responsible for the Foundation — its direction, its money, and the policies it runs on. If you know someone who should be helping steer it, this is how you say so.
What a nomination needs
The board of the Lone Star Bleeding Disorders Foundation is eleven people: five officers, four trustees, and two treatment center advisors who bring the clinical view. They are accountable for the Foundation as a whole, and the policies they work to are published on this site.
Nominations are read as they arrive. You can nominate someone else, or put yourself forward — the form asks which, so you do not have to guess whether that is welcome.
2027 board
The positions open this year
Three seats on the 2027 board are open to nomination. A seat being open does not mean it is empty — sitting board members can stand again, and often do. You can see who holds each one now.

What the commitment looks like
Every board meeting is posted as a public event, so you can see the next one before you put anyone's name forward — they are on the events page with everything else. That is the board meeting schedule itself; committee work and events sit on top of it, and how much varies.
